We are delighted to announce that Oakfield Park will re-open to the public on Wednesday 10th June at 11am, to coincide with Phase 2 of the lifting of public health restrictions and the associated geographical and distancing guidelines. The health and safety of our visitors and staff is paramount, and as such the number of cars admitted per day will be limited to allow for adequate social distancing, hand sanitisers will be available for customer use, the train and its operation will be modified to ensure hygiene and distancing compliance and new safety precautions will be in place around the park.

Buffers restaurant will offer a full menu for take-away and picnics and extra outdoor seating will be provided to enjoy your lunch alfresco. We are in the process of installing a new playground which will be in place for Phase 3 at the end of June when playgrounds are able to open again. The trains will run each day that we are open and gifts and garden produce will be available in Buffers.

As a thank you to those who have purchased 2020 Seasonal Passes, we would like to offer scheduled visits for park walks in the 2 weeks before reopening. Please email [email protected] to book a suitable slot for your private visit.  This is by appointment only on a first come, first served basis.  Availability will be confirmed by return email.

Oakfield Park very much looks forward to welcoming visitors again and sharing our safe, open spaces with you this summer!
