Oakfield Park management have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak over the past number of weeks and have taken time to learn from other attractions, from behavioural patterns and as well as advice from the National Public Health Emergency Team, the HSE and WHO.

Given the unequivocal importance of social distancing at present we will not be opening this Saturday 28th March as planned. Our planned Easter event is of course cancelled and Oakfest, which was planned for mid-summer will at the very least, be postponed.

We understand that many will be disappointed, but we are responsible for the wellbeing of visitors, friends and colleagues and it is so important at this time that we all limit the spread of COVID-19 as much as we possibly can.

In the interim, our fantastic staff can continue working safely and will use this time to make Oakfield Park better than ever before reopening. We are adding a new indoor and outdoor playground, a miniature railway and will launch a new locomotive later this year.

Thank you for your patience at this time.  Seasonal Pass holders can either receive a refund for the portion of the season that we are closed or opt to roll the pass into 2021.  Please do be safe, practice social distancing and stay healthy at this time and we look forward to welcoming you to Oakfield Park again soon.
