We’re really looking forward to another busy season at Oakfield Park. The gardens will officially re-open on Saturday 28th March, but we’re delighted to be opening our doors early for one-day-only on Sunday 22nd March to celebrate a very special day.  Our Mother’s Day Vintage Afternoon Tea event is the perfect way to spoil mums, grandmothers and ladies in your life.

The park’s gardens will be open from 12 – 6pm and the Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea will be available to pre-book from the same time. Here are five reasons to visit us for Mother’s Day:

Garden Walks

Oakfield Park is set on 100-acres of manicured parkland and is the perfect place to celebrate Mother’s Day. You can spend the afternoon rambling around the gardens, making time for conversation before  enjoying the delightful afternoon teaTrain Donegal

Authentic Train Ride

Experience an authentic train ride through the gardens, taking in breath-taking views and scenery, sculptures and wildlife.

Food at Buffers Restaurant

Local Produce and Freshly Baked

When dining in Buffers at Oakfield Park, you are guaranteed fresh, locally produced food. Our salad garnish will be selected from our walled garden and our scones and traybakes will be made fresh in the morning by our head chef. Our afternoon tea menu includes a selection of delicious homemade sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with Buffers fruit preserve and cream, delicious tray bakes and cakes and a choice of teas or coffee. You can even add Prosecco to make it a sparkling afternoon!

After a windy and wet winter, our gardens are in full bloom so enjoy your afternoon tea while looking out the window at pops of Spring colour.
