Celebrate Valentine’s Day at home this year, but allow Oakfield Park to make it special for you.

The Buffers culinary team lead by chef Damian McGettigan have created a take home Valentine’s special meal that can be assembled together in the comfort of your own home. The homegrown and local food is carefully prepared ready for collection the day before Valentine’s Day – Saturday 13th of February.

Food allergies and intolerances can be catered for if you let us know in the comments section below.

Everything is taken care of – cooking instructions to ready the meal for serving are included and a luxury red rose comes as part of the package.

The meal for two comprises the following:


Celeriac & Garden Apple Soup,

Served with homemade house breads


Roasted local prawns, garlic, shallots & tomato, finished with parsley & lemon


Charred dry-aged Fillet steak, caramelised onion, rich red wine sauce

Served with baby potatoes & whiskey butter

Charred broccoli stems & creamed garden leeks


Vanilla & Baileys pot, chocolate truffles, Achill Island sea salt caramel and macaroons


All of the above for two for only €55 a couple. Limited availability and orders must be placed by midnight on Wednesday 12th February.



Add bottle(s) of Las Condes Cabernet Sauvignon (Chilean red) – €10 each

Add bottle(s) of Vina Casablanca Reserva Chardonnay (Chilean white) – €10 each

Add half bottle(s) of Pommery Champagne – €23 each

Add 2 x quarter bottles of Prosecco Casa Defra – €8 each


Please indicate the time that you would like to pick up from Buffers. We will be facilitating pick-up from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday 13th February. Orders must be in before Thursday 11th February at midnight.

Who can order and receive deliveries?

Goods must be ordered by and received by a person 18 years of age or older. Where any of our drivers are in doubt as to the age of the person receiving the goods, they reserve the right to request proof of age and/or retain the goods until they can be received by a person of or above the legal age to purchase alcohol.


What is the delivery fee?

A delivery charge of €5 will be applied to all orders automatically.


Where do we deliver?

We offer delivery across the island of Ireland, which covers both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are currently exploring international shipping options, so to stay up to date with any changes, please sign up to our newsletter in the form at the bottom of every page, or contact us at [email protected]


How long does my order take to deliver?

We are proud to offer a shipping service that includes both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are also delighted to be able to provide next-day delivery for orders placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday (excluding holidays).


Please note orders placed after 3pm on Thursday up until 3pm on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday.


Deliveries will take place between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).


Do you provide tracking information?

You will receive an email with your tracking details as soon as your order has been booked with our delivery partners. If you do not receive this email within 12 hours of your order being placed (excluding weekends and holidays), please check your spam folder and contact us if you haven’t received it at [email protected] Click the tracking link in the email to see live tracking information. Alternatively you can track your order from our tracking page by entering your tracking number here.


You will receive a message from our delivery partners the day of the delivery with a scheduled delivery slot (usually a 1 hour window). You can manage this with them directly if the allocated time does not suit you.


Please be aware that from time to time delays can take place for a variety of reasons and we appreciate your understanding in such circumstances.
