Dogs on a lead are permitted but please lift droppings from paths and lawns. As per the Control of Dogs Regulations 1998, extra duties are placed on the owners of the following breeds:
• American Pit Bull Terrier
• Bull Mastiff
• Doberman Pinscher
• English Bull Terrier
• German Shepherd (Alsatian)
• Japanese Akita
• Japanese Tosa
• Rhodesian Ridgeback
• Rottweiler
• Staffordshire Bull Terrier, or a cross of any of these
We prefer that these dogs do not appear in Oakfield Park given the number of children in the grounds, but if they must, it is ESSENTIAL that:
• the dog is wearing a secure muzzle
• the dog is on a strong leash no more than two metres long
• the dog is led by a person over 16 years old, capable of controlling the dog
Car parking available. Toilet facilities with Baby Changing unit provided. Picnic Tables and Swings are available.
If you visit more than a couple of times a year, this is the best pass you can get. Visit as many times as you like.
