THE SLEEPERS – Terrifying Immersive Experience

On 2nd of November 2019, Oakfield Park’s Difflin Woods will play host to a terrifying immersive Halloween experience The Sleepers. This uniquely horrifying outdoor event from International Theatre company Almost Burgundy, will be performed by West End actors is strictly ticket only and has limited availability.   • Arrive at Buffers restaurant in the park at least twenty minutes before your designated train departure time (time of show)
  • Enjoy your complimentary wine, beer or soft drink while you wait for your host, Dr T, will collect you.
  • T will take you to the station platform for an introduction and safety briefing.
  • The train leaves the station and goes through the sleepers’ quarters…will you make it out?
  • Tour lasts roughly 55 minutes.
  • It is essential, when travelling on the train that all passengers remain seated at all times when the train is moving, no matter how scared!

Ticket Information
The experience is strictly recommended for 12+, with anyone under the age of 16 to be accompanied by a person over 18.

Because of the physical nature of this production, it is not suitable for those with limited mobility, health issues or pregnant women.

Adult ticket – €18 (€15 early bird rate before the end of August)

Teenage ticket – €15 (€12.50 early bird rate before the end of August)


Tickets may be presented for scanning by printing or by having available on your mobile phone. Tickets will be in PDF format and will be attached to an email sent after booking. Therefore it is important to enter your email address correctly during the booking process.

What to bring and wear

  • This is an outdoor event and involves some walking through the woods
  • Please make sure you have warm and waterproof clothing.
  • Shoes for walking are required. High heels will not be allowed.
  • Large bags are not permitted.
