“A Taste of Greatness”

We are delighted to announce our celebrity chef line-up for the Donegal Festival of Food.

Paul Rankin is Northern Ireland’s culinary pioneer and founder of Roscoff Restaurant, Ireland’s first Michelin-starred restaurant. A familiar face on TV across Ireland and the UK, Paul champions fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, seasonal produce, and traditional techniques. He continues to inspire chefs and food lovers alike through cookery demonstrations, media appearances, and festival events.

Kevin Dundon leads the award-winning Dunbrody Country House Hotel & Restaurant in County Wexford. Established with his wife Catherine in 1997, Dunbrody is one of Ireland’s top destinations for food lovers. Kevin is inspired by local suppliers, his kitchen garden and orchard, and seasonal Irish produce. He has appeared on TV in Ireland, the USA, and Canada, hosts the “Under the Grill” podcast, presents his daily online show “Kevin at 2pm”, and starred on Dancing with the Stars Ireland.

“Where Flavours Meet Legends”

Acclaimed Donegal chef, broadcaster, and author, Brian McDermott believes that wholesome, delicious food rooted in traditional recipes and local ingredients should be accessible to everyone. His latest cookbook, Brian McDermott’s Donegal Table, became an Irish bestseller and was honoured as “Best in the World” at the Gourmand Book Awards. A familiar face on radio and television, Brian regularly appears at food festivals as presenter, guest chef, and MC, celebrating Ireland’s rich culinary heritage while mentoring local food producers. Catch Brian in attendance on all three days of the festival.

Celebrated chef, broadcaster, and author, Paula McIntyre returns after rave reviews of her demos last year. Trained at Johnson and Wales University, Paula has led award-winning kitchens in Ireland and the UK and is a familiar face on TV and radio, including her BBC series Hamely Kitchen. Known for her bold flavours, passion for local ingredients, and down-to-earth charm, Paula champions seasonal Irish produce, contributes to food charities and Slow Food NI, and delights audiences with inspiring recipes and expert tips. Paula will be in attendance on May 4th.
