Fairy Gardens, Sculptures, and Playtime in Oakfield Park
“The morning began at Oakfield Park, a sprawling estate filled with winding paths, sculptures, fairy gardens, and hidden surprises at every turn. While crossing a small bridge, the family spotted a frog leaping into the bushes. It was a tiny but magical moment that added to the day’s charm.
The highlight for the children was the railway line. They climbed aboard a bright Thomas the Tank Engine-style train and joined other families for a 15‑minute journey that revealed just how expansive and beautiful the grounds were. Callum, in particular, was captivated, grinning from ear to ear as the train circled through the park.”
The family also enjoyed Oakfield’s playground and Family Fun Day celebrations, which brought beloved characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Lilo and Stitch to life. Face painting, playtime, and ice creams in the sunshine made the morning feel full of joy and discovery.
